The ARX is made from high grade mandrel bent steel, welded and finished with a textured powder coat. Since dirty tires will be mounted to it, the finish is more rugged than standard smooth powder coat.

Ultra heavy duty side mounts support the rack with rear pivots and front strikers. The entire unit is self-contained and should require no cutting or drilling to install. The mounts install into the vehicle using existing bolt holes on rear of the cage and inside the bed. Designing the mounts this way allows the user to easily remove the rack without leaving unsightly cuts and drill holes.

Heim bearings on the rear pivots and EZ lift gas shocks make for ultra smooth operation. The Strikers are integrated into the mount brackets while the latches are mounted to the rack itself.

Bed clearance from the highest point in the bed to the bottom of the rack is 8.25" or 209.5mm
