The S&B Particle Separator's remote mounting allows room to mount other accessories. It fits inside the cold air scoop (also with the additional factory ram air roof scoop) for unrestricted, clean airflow to your engine, separating out 96.7% of the dust before feeding the clean air to your stock intake!
Radically easy to install. Remove 3 rivets and 2 screws to get the cold air cover off. Five (5) screws remove the baffle and are used to install the S&B Particle Separator. Install the wire harness and you are done!
How much dust will it separate? The Particle Separator for the Maverick R will separate over 96.7% of the dust just like it does on other vehicles. With less dust on your filter, your engine will produce more power. Featuring 33 vortex tubes for almost no restriction on high horsepower engines.How about airflow? The Particle Separator for Maverick R comes with an automatic variable speed scavenge fan. When you're at idle or the vehicle's RPM is low, the fan speed is lower allowing you to talk and listen to music without hearing the fan. Once you hit the gas, the scavenge fan instantaneously accelerates to provide maximum protection for your filter. It’s the best of both worlds.
